Staying active helped with back problems through the pregnancy and I believe contributed to a straightforward labour, i was able to relate to breathing techniques we would use in class.
I am now expecting my second child and continue to train with Kim, I feel putting the hard work in while pregnant massively aids to a faster recovered after birth and plan to return to training soon after. Sessions are fast paced, Kim continues to vary the content of her sessions even after four years! She stays up to date with new techniques/routines. Reforma Pilates has become a huge part of my life now and I can’t thank Kim enough for her hard work and dedication which has nearly seen me through two pregnancies.
Recovery post c-section has been so much easier this time around and I’m putting that down to my Pilates sessions with you! Being an ex-dancer I felt it was so important to keep flexibility and strength and that’s exactly what my sessions have given me. Not to mention you always make them fun!!
I would train with Kim twice a week, she kept me motivated throughout my pregnancy with her upbeat varied sessions.
I knew I was working my tummy muscles but I never dreamt of the results. A few months after giving birth I had for the first time in my life defined stomach muscles.
Post pregnancy I continued Pilates with Kim. The sessions were a great way to get me exercising again without making me feel too tired to do anything else.
I was in a lot pain struggling to walk, struggling to turn over in bed, the pain was unbearable! I Started to do 1-2 sessions with Kim a week and wow what a difference it made, it was unbelievable!! Kim is amazing and really knows her stuff I love my sessions with her im definitely more stronger now then I have ever been, my body and mind feel amazing 🥰
